PATNA: Former cabinet minister and RJD MLA Sudhakar Singh once again lashed out at chief minister Nitish Kumar, saying the latter was running his government for goons, officers and corrupts, and not for the farmers and workers.
He also said that he urged people to ban Nitish Kumar and others like him from politics, who have come from the backdoor.
Sudhakar said these on Wednesday while he was interacting with farmers in a village in Supaul district, who are against the land acquisition for Bharat Mala Expressway.
Singh is also set to lead a rally on the same issue with farmer leader Rakesh Tikait on February 25 and 26.
When asked about his experience as a cabinet minister in CM Nitish Kumar-led government, Singh said, “I had a very bad experience with Nitish Kumar. He does not run the government for farmers and labrourers but for goons, officers and corrupts. He has come from the backdoor and was not directly elected. People like him, who come from the back door should be banned.”
RJD MLA even criticized the ‘Samadhan Yatra‘ on which the chief minister had recently embarked upon, adding the farmers were made hostage and not allowed to meet him. Singh said the area where chief minister was supposed to visit used to be painted at the last moment. “This is not the solution, rather a problem,” he added.
His assailed Nitish nearly a month after he was issued a show-cause notice by his party, which stated that he had crossed the party lines and was not supposed to speak on alliance leaders. RJD in its notice to Singh dated January 17 had said that his statement has hurted a large number of people across the country, including those in the RJD.
The party also reminded him of the resolution passed in the nation al convention, in which it was decided that only national president Lalu Prasad and deputy CM Tejashwi Prasad Yadav were authorized to give their opinions on issues pertaining to Mahagathbandhan alliance and its leaders.
However, the show-cause does not seem to have any impact on Sudhakar, who continued with the verbal attack on Nitish.
