Swara Bhasker is being showered with love on social media afer she announced her court marriage with political activist Fahad Ahmad.
On Friday, the actress shared a series of tweets from her court marriage formalities and wrote, “Three cheers for the Special Marriage Act (despite notice period etc.) At least it exists and gives love a chance… The right to love, the right to choose your life partner, the right to marry, the right to agency these should not be a privilege.” Congratulating her, Kangana Ranaut tweeted, “You both look happy and blessed that’s God’s grace… marriages happen in the hearts rest all are formalities…”

For her registered marriage ceremony, Swara borrowed stuff from her mother’s collection. The actress had tweeted, So blessed to be supported and cheered by the love of family and friends like family! Wore my mother’s sari & her jewellery.. made @FahadZirarAhmad wear colour 🙂 and we registered under the #SpecialMarriageAct Now to prep for shehnaii-wala shaadi.” The couple will get hitched next month in Delhi, in a grand wedding. In her social media post, Swara Bhasker had revealed that she had first met Fahad at a rally and they had clicked their first selfie also at a protest.
